Idea executed the fastest 4G roll-out in the country in 2016 - with one broadband site being installed every ten minutes. Idea’s pan-India network comprises of over 240,000 cell sites, nearly half of which is broadband. Idea has also rapidly expanded its fibre network which spread across 1.4 lakh kms at the end of March ’17.

Idea has consistently retained its leadership position in Mobile Number Portability (MNP) and has recorded a net gain of over 22 million customers through MNP, till end of March ’17. One in every four customers chooses Idea as a preferred telecom operator.
