"Working on the Novelis transaction was like
a rollercoaster ride for all the team members.
I was supporting the team on the legal side of
the transaction. I not only liaised with the lawyers
in different jurisdictions but also did a detailed
study of different forms of M&A transactions
in Canada and the advantage of one over the other.
My senior and I were responsible for doing an
in - depth study of all the agreements, documents
and due diligence reports and highlighting the
key legal issues to the management. I was also
involved in getting various anti trust/competition
laws clearances in various jurisdictions, which
was one of the key factors for closing of the
transaction."

Within the diverse environs of Aditya Birla
Group, I see an exceptional source of ideas, experiences
and knowledge which go well beyond powerful career
leverage. Soon after completing my Masters degree
from one of United Kingdom's premier B-Schools,
I decided to join the Aditya Birla Group's Corporate
Human Resources for an extremely challenging assignment.
This was the Group-wide Peoplesoft Human Resource
ERP implementation - a project that would cover
26,000 employees in 20 countries where the Aditya
Birla Group is present.
That the Aditya Birla Group has given me an unbeatable
platform with a bounty of options and a rich menu
of opportunities to suit my talents and caliber
is to say the least. My work with the core implementation
team as a PeopleSoft Human Resource Module expert
has the right combination of ideas, learning and
fun. But more importantly, it gives me a sense
of unique accomplishment when I see it tangibly
impacting the way HR processes have transformed
Group-wide.
Each time I have moved to a new project within
the Group
be it an HR ERP project or Role
based Competency Mapping project, there is a plethora
to learn from and contribute to. All in all, the
Aditya Birla Group fosters a sense of responsibility
and bolsters continuous growth on the professional
front."
