EMIL commissions water supply project in Odisha

Essel Mining and Industries (EMIL), a wholly-owned ABG company, in association with Government of Odisha has commissioned a water supply project in Champua subdivision of Odisha. The District Administration had entrusted the responsibility of the project to EMIL and the company has completed the project on time as part of its corporate social responsibility.

The Rs 6 crore project is designed to serve uninterrupted water to about 50,000 people of Champua for the next 30 years. The project will supply 24 hours clean and pure portable water directly from the intake well on the Baitarani river bed through natural filtration process.

The entire project has been designed by NIIT Rourkela and vetted by RWSS Champua. The project will be managed by PHD Champua.
