ABI commenced its operations in 1967 with an annual capacity of 2000 MT. Currently the company has two production units – one at Rishra near Kolkata and another at Halol near Vadodara with combined loading capacity of 62,400 MT, and a centralised marketing office at Vadodara.
Both the units cater to the entire spectrum of specialised insulator needs for the power sector up to 1200 KV HVAC. ABI has also put up a world class composite insulator plant at Halol to meet the special application requirements in the transmission segment. Testing facilities of our transmission products are NABL accredited. Our geographically diversified marketing network addresses our customer needs on a proactive basis. We export to more than 58 countries worldwide with our products delivering on stringent field performance criteria. Presently 25% of our total revenue comes from overseas business.
