Allen Solly opens first flagship store

Bhubaneshwar: Country's leading garment brand Allen Solly, which is part of Aditya Birla Group, opened its first flagship store in the state, a top official of the company said. “We are opening our first flagship store in the city, which will host a range of women's wear along with kids and men's wear. We will offer our women's wear as 'Solly' by Allen Solly and kids' wear as Solly Juniors,” Chief Operating Officer of Allen Solly &Louis Philippe, Sooraj Bhat said.

Bhat also said the new store spans over an area of 2,400 sqft and is designed with company's new retail identity. “The growth of apparel sector, supported by consumers, makes Bhubaneshwar an exciting market for a brand like Allen Solly,” Bhat added.

On its future expansion plan in the state, he said it wants to open a total of 3 stores out of which 2 stores will be opened in Bhubaneshwar and one in Cuttack by end of this fiscal. “These new stores will be exclusive stores of the company. In total, the company has 6 stores in the state out of which 3 are in Bhubaneshwar and rest others are in Rourkela, Jaipur and Cuttack,” Bhat added.

On growth of the company, he said it has seen 20-25 per cent growth year-on-year in recent years. “We are hopeful to achieve revenue of Rs.50 crore this fiscal,” he said.
