The Aditya Birla Group bags ET-Nasscom award for excellence in IT

The Aditya Birla Group has been awarded the '2003 IT Excellence Award' by Nasscom and Economictimes.com, for "optimum utilization of the IT model in its working culture". Held for the first time on 29th July'03, these awards have been instituted "to recognize those corporates that integrate information technology with their business processes." The awards were presented to organizations from different industry verticals.

The IT User Awards are based on a model developed by the eTechnology Group at IMRB that assesses the preparedness of organizations to adopt IT infrastructure to boost their internal efficiencies, productivity and bottomline. It also evaluates the deployment of IT at an organization.
