BJFCL is a joint venture between Aditya Birla Group and Hubei Jingwei Chemical Fibre Co. Ltd. Its 30,000 tpa VSF
manufacturing plant is located at Xiangfan in the Hubei Province of China. The plant acquired by BJFCL in October 2006 was
commissioned by Fujian Jingwei Group in October 2005. The product (VSF) is currently sold in domestic market. BJFCL is in the process to ramp up the current capacity to
60,000 tpa.

This JV is Aditya Birla Group’s second in China and is a perfect fit to leverage upon the Group’s dominance in dissolving grade pulp production and Jingwei Group’s substantial presence in yarn spinning.
