Phosphates find many applications in the food industry

Birla Jingwei Fibres Company Limited (BJFCL), originally promoted as joint venture company between Aditya Birla Group and Fujian Jingwei Group, is now a 100 per cent Aditya Birla Group company. The viscose staple fibre manufacturing plant with its 30,000 tpa capacity is located in Xiangfan City, Hubei province of China. The product (VSF) is currently sold in domestic market.

Expansions, now in progress, will take BJFCL’s capacity to 70,000 tpa by December 2008 and bring on stream, a captive cogeneration plant of 15 mw by February 2009.
