Birla Nifty Pty. Ltd. currently has a capacity to produce 25,000 tpa of copper cathodes and has a concentrator plant with a milling capacity to process approximately 2.5 mtpa of underground sulphide ore to produce copper in concentrate. The underground sulphide ore body has a life of around 11 years and is expected to produce on an average, 60,000 tpa of copper in concentrate over life of the mine.
