Indo-Thai
Synthetics Company Limited was the first overseas
venture of the Group, operating in Thailand since
1970. Its present capacity stands at 87,072 spindles
and 6,560 open end rotors, producing a total of
32,500 tonnes per annum.
As
Thailands leading synthetics yarn manufacturer
and exporter, it commands 50 per cent share of
the total synthetic spun yarn exported from Thailand
and the company's turnover is over US$ 95 million.
Recent
capacity addition has been an open end spinning
plant commissioned in 2007. The company's state-of-the-art
technology has enabled it to meet the growing
market for superior quality yarns in 100 per cent
rayon, rayon blends and spun polyester serving
quality conscious customers worldwide. Its products
find end usage for apparel, furnishing and upholstery
fabrics, functional fabrics like sports wear,
industrial textiles viz., canvas, fishing nets
and tyre cords, mattress ticking, gum tape, Chennille
yarns and backing cloth.

Over 70 per cent of its quality products reach
customers across 30 countries including the USA,
Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Turkey, Greece, Belgium,
France, Israel, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany,
South Korea, Bangladesh, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Among its major clientele is Bekaert Textile
the worlds leading mattress ticking manufacturer
operating in the USA, Belgium and Turkey. Its
final knit apparels are supplied to top labels
such as Banana Republic, H&M, JC Penny, Sears,
M&S, Lindex, Kapphal and Wal Mart.

with several awards such as, Best Labour Relations
award by Thai Prime Minister from 2002-2005; Best
Employers award in Thailand from Hewitt
Associates: 2003; OEKOTEX 100 Certification;
ISO: 9001 (QMS) and ISO 14001 (EMS) Certification
by SGS (Thailand) Limited and Usterized Certification
for its products by Uster Technologies, Switzerland.
