Indo-Thai
Synthetics Company Limited was the first overseas
venture of the Group, operating in Thailand since
1970. Its present capacity stands at 98,568 spindles
and 6,560 open end rotors, producing a total of
39,240 tonnes per annum.
As
Thailand’s leading synthetics yarn manufacturer
and exporter, it commands 50 per cent share of
the total synthetic spun yarn exported from Thailand
and the company's turnover over USD$ 87 million.
Recent capacity addition has been an open end
spinning plant commissioned in 2007. The company's
state-of-the-art technology has enabled it to
meet the growing market for superior quality yarns
in 100 per cent Rayon, Rayon Blends, Spun Polyesters
and Cotton Polyester blends serving quality conscious
customers worldwide. Its products find end usage
for apparel, furnishing and upholstery fabrics,
functional fabrics like sports wear, industrial
textiles viz, canvas, fishing nets and tyre cords,
mattress ticking, gum tape, Chennille yarns and
backing cloth.
Indo-Thai is committed to meeting international
quality standards at competitive prices with quick
deliveries and a strong service commitment to
the client. Over 70 per cent of its quality products
reach customers across 30 countries including
the USA, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Turkey, Greece,
Belgium, France, Israel, Italy, Spain, Portugal,
Germany, South Korea, Bangladesh, Hong Kong and
Taiwan. Among its major clientele are Bakert Textile
– the world’s leading mattress ticking
manufacturer operating in the USA, Belgium and
Turkey. Its final knit apparels are supplied to
top labels such as H&M, JC Penny, Sears, M&S,
Lindex, Kapphal, Wal Mart and Banana Republic.
Several
awards have recognised Indo-Thai’s Synthetic’s
achievements such as, Best Labour Relations award
by Thai Prime Minister from 2002-2005; Best Employer’s
award in Thailand from Hewitt Associates: 2003;
OEKO – TEX 100
certification; ISO: 9001 (Quality and Customer
Satisfaction) certified by SGS (Thailand) Limited.
