On its 66th Foundation Day on 26 May, 2004, Dena Bank felicitated "five distinguished personalities who have made striking contributions in the fields of cinema, sports, social service, literature and business." Mrs. Rajashree Birla was honoured for her contribution to Corporate Social Responsibility. Said the citation, "Your seminal contributions in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility have left an indelible print on the business scenario and have opened newer chapters in philanthropy. It is indeed our proud privilege to extend this request to you to accept our felicitations."
