Corporate Legal Cell is the apex legal function for the entire Group. Over the years, it has transformed itself as part of the business process by providing cost effective counsel on a wide range of strategic and transaction related issues. The Corporate Legal Function works in close coordination with other corporate functions to provide integrated business solutions, keeping in view the applicable legal environment. It has acquired the competence to provide legal assistance and advice in different jurisdictions. It plays a significant role in areas of mergers, acquisitions, both domestic and cross-border, and corporate re-structuring. It also operates as an in-house law firm amd continuously interacts with the internal client group and provides assistance in the areas of compliance and litigation, and for this purpose, maintains an effective interface with external counsel.
