World Class Manufacturing (WCM) actively engages with the Group’s Manufacturing and Service businesses towards building organisation-wide excellence through initiatives such as TPM / TQM / Lean / Six Sigma / Triz. WCM interventions focus on building culture and competencies leading to
achievement of tangible business benefits, enhanced stakeholder satisfaction and image. The Function builds external network for seeking contemporary best practices related to business excellence and provides internal platforms
for sharing and learning best practices. The WCM model and roadmap incorporates best practices from renowned international business excellence / quality models such as MBNQA, EFQM and Deming Prize.

The Function’s delivery model includes education, training, on-site and off-site facilitation that includes high impact projects identification and mentoring. To sustain and inspire continuous build up of the momentum, the WCM team also designs, develops and manages the Chairman’s WCM awards
and Group-wide team competitions.
