Mr. Kumar Mangalam Birla, Chairman, Aditya Birla Group, was invited by Bloomberg Chairman Mr. Peter Grauer to a Fireside Chat at the Bloomberg India Economic Forum held in Mumbai on 18 September 2018.

In a freewheeling conversation, Ms. Haslinda Amin, Bloomberg's Chief International Correspondent South East Asia, introduced Mr. Birla as a “rock star” among businessmen, and took on board his opinion on a range of issues. Among these featured, the Indian economy, the strength of the dollar, the current trade wars, our global businesses, climate change and gender diversity. The 500-strong audience included select business leaders, bankers, analysts and investors.
