UltraTech turbocharges growth

UltraTech achieved 100+ million tonnes of grey cement sales volume in FY23. It also committed a Rs. 13,000 crore investment for greenfield and brownfield expansions, and proposed acquisition of the cement business of Kesoram Industries in pursuit of its 200 MMT capacity goal.

Hindalco took a giant leap into the future

Hindalco bolstered Chandrayaan 3's successful flight with robust alloys and billets from Hindalco-Almex Aerospace Limited. The company signed partnership agreements with Metra SpA and Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd. for building aluminium rail wagons and coaches in India. To support the EV drive, the company invested Rs. 800 crore towards setting up a 25,000-tonne battery foil plant in Odisha.

Aditya Birla New Age Hospitality (ABNAH), the hospitality arm of the Group, forayed into the premium casual dining segment in collaboration with India's well-known chef-restaurateur Rahul Akerkar. ABNAH also acquired 100% stake in KA Hospitality, adding Hakkasan, Yauatcha, Nara Thai and CinCin to its growing portfolio.
