Mr. Jayant V Dhobley

Mr. Jayant Dhobley is the CEO and Business Head of Global Chemicals, Fashion Yarn & Insulators, Aditya Birla Group. With a wealth of experience and expertise spanning over three decades, Mr. Dhobley has been instrumental in driving P&L, innovation, growth, and sustainability in his roles.

Mr. Dhobley completed his Bachelor's degree in Engineering, specialising in Polymer Technology, from MIT, Pune. Over the course of his career, Mr. Dhobley has garnered experience in various facets of the speciality material, polymer and chemical industry. He has worked in global roles across multiple domains, including P&L, operations, mergers and acquisitions, and spearheading greenfield projects. Prior to his association with Aditya Birla Group, he worked at Greaves Cotton & Co. Ltd., Amcor, and DSM.

His two decades of experience working in China and Singapore have equipped him with a deep understanding of the Asia Pacific chemical industry and market dynamics, allowing him to bring unique insights and strategies.

Beyond his corporate engagements, Mr. Dhobley is an avid sailor. In his leisure time, he also enjoys listening to Hindustani Classical music.
