Mr. Rajeev Sonthalia

Mr. Rajeev Sonthalia joined Aditya Birla Group as Director, Corporate Strategy and Business Development in April 2023 to lead strategic and new business initiatives. Additionally, he serves as Director of the Group's B2B e-commerce platform. He also holds the position of Executive Director at Aditya Birla Management Corporation Private Limited, the apex decision-making body of Aditya Birla Group.

Prior to joining Aditya Birla Group, Mr. Sonthalia, worked in the oil and gas industry with SLB for over three decades, where he held various leadership roles across several businesses with both regional and global responsibilities. In his most recent role at SLB as President, Digital & Integration, he led the company's efforts to grow and scale its digital business, serving customers within and beyond the oil and gas industry, by leveraging artificial intelligence, machine learning, and the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). He also served on the company's Executive Management Leadership Team.

Mr. Sonthalia has a wealth of experience in several markets, including Asia, Middle East, Europe, and North and South America.

He holds an MBA from Erasmus University, Netherlands, and a Bachelor of Technology degree in Engineering Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai.
