Birla Cellulosic bags Greentech CSR award

Birla Cellulosic installs reverse osmosis plants to solve the problem of unsafe drinking water in villages situated on the periphery of its factory

Birla Cellulosic bagged the 5th Annual Greentech CSR Award (Gold Category) for its outstanding achievement in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Mr. Sandeep Pandey, Vice President (HRM), accepted the trophy and certificate on behalf of the company at the awards ceremony held on 28 November 2015 at Cyberabad Convention Centre, Hyderabad. 

Birla Cellulosic won the award for installation of reverse osmosis plants in villages situated on the periphery of the company factory, which solved the problem of unsafe drinking water. The move curbed the spread of water-borne diseases among the villagers.
