Aditya Birla Lifestyle Brands Limited (ABFRL) emerged after the consolidation of the apparel businesses of Aditya Birla Group, comprising ABNL's Madura Fashion division and ABNL's subsidiary Madura Lifestyle into Pantaloons Fashion and Retail (PFRL) in 2015.Post-consolidation, PFRL was renamed to Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd (ABFRL). Our refreshed strategy, built around the growing theme of premiumization and anchored in elevated merchandising, enhanced store experiences and a stronger self-expression-led consumer proposition, has strengthened brand perception and accelerated business momentum over the course of the year. Pantaloons opened 4 new stores and closed 11 stores during the quarter, taking the overall store count to 399.OWND continued to expand its footprint with the addition of 12 new stores this quarter, taking the total store count to 79.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;<h3>Ethnic Brands</h3>Our ethnic portfolio has now reached an annual revenue scale of over Rs. 2200 Cr. Full year cash losses halved vs previous year, on the back of improved store throughput and focused actions across operating costs that drove improvement in profitability. The business also added 11 stores during the quarter, re-starting its expansion journey. The first W flagship store showcasing all its brands was launched in Mumbai, comprehensively featuring the brand’s key categories and latest offerings.TASVA, the men’s premium ethnic wear brand, reported 33% YoY sales growth during the quarter, driven by strong double digit LTL growth and network expansion. TASVA continues to make inroads into the wedding market through a better product proposition, an aspirational brand imagery and elevated retail experience.Jaypore grew double digit with 26% growth during the quarter, led by continued network expansion. The brand’s retail network now stands at 44 stores.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;<h3>Luxury Retail</h3>The Collective &amp; Mono Brands (TCMB) business continued to grow profitably, with its total network, including mono-brand stores, at 49 stores.Galeries Lafayette, India’s first flagship luxury department store, commenced operations in November 2025 and has seen strong early traction. The platform continues to drive consumer engagement through curated luxury experiences and stronger collaborations, setting new benchmarks in luxury retail in India.<a href="/businesses/companies/tmrw/">TMRW</a> portfolio delivered 45% YoY growth in Q4, underpinned by category extensions and high-impact marketing campaigns. Q4 cash losses narrowed YoY, led by better scale efficiencies and operating leverage. The portfolio also continued to build its omni-channel presence, closing the quarter with ~120 stores (including WROGN) across key markets nationwide.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;<h3>Way forward</h3>The company delivered a strong performance during the quarter and the year, with margin improvement supported by scale-led operating leverage and sharper execution. Investments across distribution expansion, brand building and operating capabilities are now translating into visible performance gains, reinforcing the strength of the portfolio and its growth potential.The broader consumption environment gained momentum during the later part of the year. While near-term uncertainties may create intermittent impact, the long-term opportunity in organized retail remains compelling. Operating rates increased to 92% from 82% in Q1FY26, average CSF prices rose to $1.56/kg from $1.52/kg in Q1FY26, and average inventory levels declined to 11 days from 20 days in Q1FY26, reflecting a better demand-supply balance. In India, despite the rescinding of the Quality Control Order (QCO), domestic CSF prices stood higher due to depreciating rupee and partial passing of higher sulphur prices.CSF sales volume grew 12% YoY to 232 KT, driven by higher exports of specialty fibres. CFY business performance remained flat on a YoY basis. Total revenue for the Cellulosic Fibres segment grew by 14% YoY to ₹4,614 Cr. The business EBITDA grew 2x at ₹588 Cr. led by volume growth, operating efficiencies, favorable product mix and benign pulp prices.<h4>Chemicals (Chlor-Alkali, Chlorine Derivatives and Specialty Chemicals)</h4>Caustic Soda (CFR-SEA) average international spot prices for Q4FY26 stood at $446/ton, down 15% YoY. Also, caustic realisations in domestic markets were lower. However, slight improvement in Chlorine realisations mitigated the overall impact resulting in an ECU decline of 8% YoY to ₹32,413/ton.Caustic soda sales volume stood at its highest ever at 321 KT, up 11% YoY, driven by stable domestic demand. Specialty Chemicals revenue grew by 5% YoY; however, profitability was impacted due to higher input prices, mainly ECH. Profit before Interest, Depreciation and Taxation (PBIDT) scaled to an all-time quarterly high of Rs. 5,688 crores, a 20% year-on-year surge, while the Operating PBIDT per tonne ascended to a robust Rs. 1,253 per tonne - 11% ahead of the prior year - underscoring the formidable operating leverage embedded in UltraTech’s integrated business model. Normalised Profit after Tax for the quarter was a stellar Rs. 3,011 crores, registering a 21% year-on-year leap, affirming the quality, consistency, and compounding momentum of the Company’s earnings trajectory. Operating margin expanded to 22%, a 200-basis point improvement year-on-year.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;<h3>FINANCIAL HIGHLIGHTS — FULL YEAR FY26</h3>For the full year FY26, UltraTech delivered a historic financial performance. Consolidated Net Sales reached a record Rs. 87,384 crores against Rs. 74,936 crores in the previous fiscal, representing a 17% increase. Consolidated PBIDT rose 32% to an unprecedented Rs. 17,598 crores - the highest in the Company’s history on the back of strong volume growth, cost discipline, and the progressive integration of acquired assets. Consolidated Profit after Tax rose 36% to a landmark Rs. 8,305 crores (before exceptional items). &nbsp;For the first time in the Company’s history consolidated PAT crossed the Rs. 8,000 crores threshold. The Company’s Total Capital Employed now stands at over Rs. 1,07,000 crores, with Net Debt-to-EBITDA improving to a healthy 0.94x as at 31st March, 2026.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;<h3>OPERATIONS</h3>UltraTech’s operational machinery delivered outstanding results in Q4 FY26. Grey cement sales volumes for India reached 42.41 million tonnes in the quarter, rising 9.3% year-on-year, as capacity utilisation surged to 89%, propelled by robust demand across housing, infrastructure, and commercial construction segments. For the full year, total grey cement volumes for India were 145.0 &nbsp;million tonnes.On the cost front, the Company demonstrated exemplary discipline. Energy costs declined 3% year-on-year, powered by a meaningfully higher green power mix - which now stands at a commendable 43% of total power consumption versus 34.4% in the prior year - alongside an expanded Alternative Fuel and Raw material (AFR) mix and improved conversion ratios. Imported fuel costs averaged USD 122 per tonne in Q4 FY26, remaining broadly stable year-on-year, while total costs per tonne declined 2% year-on-year, reflecting the ongoing harvest of cost optimisation initiatives embedded across the production ecosystem. Notwithstanding the geopolitical conflict in West Asia, which exerted upward pressure on fuel prices, packaging materials, diesel, and ocean freight, the Company’s resilient procurement strategy and diversified sourcing helped substantially mitigate the impact.White Cement and Value-Added Products also shone brightly. White cement volumes grew 15.3% year-on-year in Q4 FY26.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;<h3>SPECIAL DIVIDEND</h3>The Board of Directors, at their meeting held today, has been pleased to recommend a Special Dividend of Rs 240 per share on the face value of Rs. 10/- each per equity share for the financial year 2025–26 — a deliberate and meaningful departure from the ordinary course of dividend declaration. This Special Dividend is anchored in a confluence of several milestones that FY26 has delivered: consolidated PAT crossing the Rs. 8,000 crores threshold for the first time in the Company’s history; domestic grey cement capacity surpassing the landmark 200 MTPA frontier; and operating cash flows growing a remarkable 50% year-on-year to Rs. 14,398 crores — the strongest in the Company’s history. These are not incremental achievements. They represent the full fruition of a decade of disciplined capital allocation, bold capacity-building, and the seamless integration of transformative acquisitions. The Special Dividend is the Board’s unambiguous signal to the capital markets and to the shareholders who have trusted UltraTech through years of heavy investment: FY26 is the year that patience has been vindicated, and the reward must be commensurate with the moment.
