I’m Damini Baliker. I build the future in the cloud. My journey with cloud technology began from Aditya Birla Group. I was totally fascinated about how cloud computing works.

My senior stakeholders and management team, they have seen potential in me and they have supported. They have invested time in me and because of that, I am today here as a cloud solution architect, creating solutions, creating innovations and automations, and presenting it to the business for the future.

When I got designated here, I’m positioned here in… it was for project manager. I mean 80% of it’s a non-technical job. But when I entered into the Aditya Birla Group, after 2–3 days, I got a cloud project. My boss, to whom I report, he said, “Damini, you are the very luckiest person because 2–3 days back only we launched cloud.” From there, my journey started because I was really fascinated how cloud computing was. I was not knowing, it was completely new to me.

ABG has given me a space where I can test my ideas, I can implement my ideas, I can shape the solutions, and I really feel that this is something a woman can be in tech. She can do anything. She can shape the future of the world, not just businesses.

Go for it. I mean anyone go for it. Believe in yourself more. Please do come out from the comfort zone and try new things, experimenting new things. And in technology, definitely women belong to it.

For example, if I have to do something related to security, I have that space. I do have that wings. I can go to that domain and I can have that visibility. “What’s going on? Can you explain me this?” Okay, yes. And this wings are given by Aditya Birla.
