The Batman of Bengaluru

Long before he became a lifeline for thousands, Dushyant Dubey was just a 17-year-old boy, watching something horrific: A teenager in Florida was livestreaming his suicide. Dushyant watched in shock, and racing against time, tracing details of the location, he called the Miami police from his mother’s phone.
Help came too late for that teenager. But the moment stayed with Dushyant. And it changed everything.
Raised on practical lessons about India’s justice system, Dushyant began to see the gaps—the people who fell through, the voices that went unheard. He started small, volunteering with non-governmental organisation (NGO) in Ahmedabad, and later in Bengaluru, showing up, helping where he could.
In 2023, he walked away from his marketing job and built something bigger, the Broseph Foundation. What began as a response to injustice soon became a safety net for those with nowhere else to turn.
Women escaping abusive homes.
Victims of cyberstalking.
Children denied their right to education.
Dushyant and his team step in when it matters most, rescuing, supporting, standing beside survivors in courtrooms, drafting FIRs, arranging hospital care, and even funding therapy from their own savings. Because for him, this isn’t just work. It’s personal.
The road hasn’t been easy. There have been death threats. Physical assaults. Police harassment. Once, he was even dragged out during a rescue.
But he keeps going. Because for every life he couldn’t save, there are thousands he still can.
Today, nearly 50,000 people in Bengaluru have his number on their phones. And a growing army of over 8,000 volunteers carries his mission forward across Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune and Chennai.
One call. One intervention. One life at a time. Because sometimes, being a hero doesn’t mean wearing a cape. It means showing up—when no one else will.
No wonder Dushyant has earned the title: The Batman of Bengaluru.
